John Maxham

After all these years, countless marketing reinventions and revolutions, technological paradigm shifts…the biggest challenge in advertising is STILL getting disinterested people to give a damn about your brand.

From putting expressions like ‘She Shed’ and ‘Snack Hoodie’ into the popular lexicon, to turning notions of Super Bowl success on their head, my goal is always to be noticed and remembered. Easy to say. Hard to do.

From juggernauts to underdogs, big budgets to no budgets, my experience with so many different business scenarios has made me an excellent listener. It’s how I adapt to the unique challenges of each client and find ways to break through and connect that are right for them.

If I’m stubborn about anything, it’s that powerful ideas should still make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

Vince Cook

You can’t make an ostrich fly. You can’t make a sundial on a billboard. You can’t make a grown man cry over a glass cleaner. I’ve been told you can’t a lot in my career. I think I’m a poor listener. I once was even told I shouldn’t get into the business then this happened. Adweek's "Creative 100, The Names You Need to Know Right Now” and Adweek's 22 "Creative Directors who are Completely Reimagining What's Possible in Advertising".
I love challenges, especially impossible briefs.

About where I’ve lead, art directed, the awards, what work has been parodied, the national news and media sensations made, where I’ve spoken at and who loves me feel free to click the LinkedIn button below. However, I’m not as excited about the past as I am excited about the great things we can do for you or your brand.
